Welding speed is one of the main parameters of welding process. It is related to heating system, welding deformation rate and the crystallization rate of the other side.
In high frequency longitudinal welded pipe, the welding quality increases with the increase of welding speed. This is because the heating time is shortened to narrow the width of the edge heating area, and the time of forming the metal oxide is shortened. If the welding speed is reduced, the heating area is widened, and the width of the melting zone varies with the input, and the burr is large. When welding at low speed, the heat input will reduce the difficulty of welding. If the value is not up to the specified value, it will be prone to produce defects.
