an examination
All work and materials stipulated in this standard can be inspected by the buyer, but such inspections shall not relieve the manufacturer of the responsibility for providing materials and performing work in accordance with this standard.
Quality assurance

defect
Finished tubes should not be unacceptable defects. When the flaw depth is greater than 12.5% of the nominal wall thickness, the defects of the
seamless steel pipe or weld base metal will be considered unacceptable.
If the depth of the flaw exceeds 1/3 of the nominal wall thickness of the pipe, the defect cannot be repaired if the length of the flaw having a depth greater than 12.5% is greater than 25% of the outer diameter of the pipe. Each repaired pipe should meet the standard requirements for hydrostatic testing.
Marketing
Consecutive positions in each section of the pipe and in each special section shall be marked with serial numbers or other marks.
