U.S. Industry Submits Double Counter Investigation Application for Chinese Steel Propane Gas Cylinde

On May 22, 2018, Washington, Worthington Industries and Manchester Tank & Equipment Co. filed an application with the US Department of Commerce and the International Trade Commission requesting imports from China. Steel Propane Cylinders launched anti-dumping countervailing investigations and initiated anti-dumping investigations on products imported from Taiwan and Thailand.
The products involved were mainly attributed to the US Customs Tariff Nos. 7311.00.0060 and 7311.00.0090. According to U.S. statistics, in 2017 I exported about $89.8 million to the United States. The U.S. Department of Commerce will decide whether or not to file a case on or about June 11, 2018
