The Casing pipe is the high end product of steel pipe production. There are many kinds of bushings. There are 15 kinds of casing diameters. The diameter range of 114.3-508mm steel; divided into J55, K55, N80, L-80, P-110, C-90, C-95, T-95 and other 11 kinds of casing; end buckle type and many types of requirements, processing button type STC, LC, BC, VAM, buckle type. The process of casing production and installation involves many tests. The main points are as follows:


1, ultrasonic testing
When ultrasonic waves propagate in the material to be detected, the acoustic characteristics and internal structure of the material will affect the propagation of ultrasonic waves. Through the degree and condition of ultrasonic testing, we can know the change of material properties and structure.


2. ray detection
Radiographic examination of the difference in the amount of radiation transmitted between the normal part and the defect site causes a black difference on the substrate.


3, permeation test
Penetration testing is the use of capillary liquid, the permeate penetrate into the open defects on the surfaces of solid materials, and then penetrate through the developer to display the inhalation of surface defects.


Penetration test is suitable for all kinds of metal and ceramic workpiece, from penetration operation to the defect display time is relatively short, generally about half an hour, surface fatigue, stress corrosion and crack can be detected, the crack size can be measured directly.


4, magnetic powder detection
Magnetic particle detection uses magnetic flux leakage from defective parts to adsorb magnetic particles and form magnetic labels to provide defect indication. Surface and surface defects can be detected. The nature of the defect is very easy to identify. The surface of the paint and electroplating does not affect the sensitivity of the test.


5, eddy current testing
Eddy current testing mainly uses eddy currents induced by ferromagnetic coils on workpieces to analyze the internal quality of workpieces. It can detect the surface and near surface defects of various conductive materials. Usually the parameter control is difficult, the test result is difficult to explain, and the test object is necessary. It must be a conductive crack and indirectly measure the length of the defect.


6, magnetic flux leakage detection
Casing magnetic flux leakage testing is based on the high permeability characteristics of ferromagnetic materials. By measuring the permeability change caused by defects in ferromagnetic materials, the quality of in service casing can be detected.


7, magnetic memory detection
Magnetic memory testing is the relationship between physical properties of magnetic phenomena and metal dislocation processes. It has many advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, no grinding and so on. It has important and extensive application prospects in industry.


In several testing methods, there are no specific standards for testing the magnetic memory of products. These standards are yet to be developed. The other six types have their own testing standards, which are relatively mature.
